How to Earn Your ABR® (International Realtors®)

Checklist for International REALTORS® earning the ABR® Designation:

 

1. Membership Requirement

You must be a member in good standing with an association outside of the U.S. (“Cooperating Association”) which is a party to a Bilateral Cooperation Agreement with the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR).

2. Education

Complete the Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR®) two-day course online or in the classroom.

3. One-Time Application Fee

Pay the one-time application fee of USD$185 via our payment portal.

4. Maintaining Your ABR® Designation

Once you’ve earned the ABR® Designation you will also be an International REALTOR® Member of NAR for the balance of that calendar year.

Maintaining your NAR International REALTOR® Membership with ONE yearly fee of $75 will keep all of your NAR Designations and Certifications active. Please note that if your International REALTOR® Membership goes inactive, so will your ABR® Designation.
