Geoffrey Moore

I grew up in Palo Alto, California. After I graduated high school, I pursued a career as a professional ballet dancer. I trained at San Francisco Ballet School and joined American Ballet Theatre in 1986. I retired from dance in 1992 and enrolled at Fordham University. I transferred to San Francisco State University in 1994 and earned two degrees in 1997, one in statistics and the other in economics. With a focus on going on to business school, I went to work in several marketing positions. After a few years, however, I realized I needed more creativity in my life and I decided to go back into the arts. I enrolled in the photography program at City College of San Francisco and opened my own commercial photography business in 2005. The downturn of the market in 2008 affected the photographic industry enormously and, after only a few short years in business, I decided it was time to look for a new direction. Given my skill set and the fact that I had experience in buying and selling properties, real estate was a natural transition for me. I haven’t looked back and love what I’m doing now. I am also an Accredited Buyer's Representative (ABR®), a Resort and Second-Home Property Specialist (RSPS), a Short Sales and Foreclosure Resource (SFR), and a Graduate, Realtor® Institute (GRI).
