Candace Cooke has been involved in the real estate field since 1983. She is currently president and owner of Real Property Counselors Inc., a woman-owned real estate firm. Her experience includes real estate research and valuation of both residential and commercial real estate, real estate development and property management as well as listing and selling.
Candace entered the teaching field in 2008 and currently is an approved provider for the Texas Real Estate Commission. She was named the Texas Association of REALTORS® Educator of the year in 2011. She was also named the 2011 Entrepreneur of the Year by the Highland Lakes Womens Council of REALTORS®.
She has earned numerous designations and certifications including ABR®, CRB, GREEN, GRI and SRES®. Candace was recently accepted into the REALTOR® University Graduate School Program. She serves on the Professional Standards Committee at the Texas Association of REALTORS ® and on the Real Property Valuation Committee at the National Association of REALTORS®. She is an active member with the San Marcos Area Board of REALTORS®.
Candace graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, majoring in Consumer Services with an emphasis in business. When not involved in real estate endeavors, she enjoys spending time cooking and relaxing at her home in the Texas Highland Lakes Region.
