As a charter member of the REBAC Advisory Board with three decades of real estate industry experience, Charlie Dahlheimer was the co-owner of the North American Consulting Group, parent/owner of REBAC from 1992 through 1996. During this time, he was greatly involved in establishing the ABRŪ designation program and in developing the education courses for it, teaching many early sessions himself. Under NACG's ownership, REBAC membership grew from approximately 250 to over 6,000; and services and benefits increased just as significantly.
As president of NACG, Mr. Dahlheimer now edits and publishes The Real Estate Executive Summary, an industry newsletter, and is also host and sponsor of The Great Idea Conference, an annual industry brainstorming event. An industry futurist, consultant and author, Mr. Dahlheimer's latest book, 20/20 Vision: A Focus on the Future of the Real Estate Industry , has just recently been published. He has also co-authored a number of other industry books, including Real Estate in the 90s: A Whole New World Ahead and Coping With The Dynamics of the 90s, and is a regular contributor to a variety of real estate- related publications, including The Real Estate Professional.
Mr. Dahlheimer is also president of the Professional Certification Corporation and the Residential Financing Council, developers of training programs in real estate finance. A popular speaker, he lectures frequently on buyer representation and other real estate topics.
