Deborah Ashbrook-Schultz Is a prominent national real estate educator and seasoned real estate practitioner, with experience working as a buyer representation specialist and director of education for Coldwell Banker Mid- American Group in West Des Moines, Iowa; as general manager of Coldwell Banker Real Estate Professionals in Iowa City, Iowa; and as an associate and sales manager for Coldwell Banker in Roseville, Michigan.
Conducting buyer representation courses since 1989, Ms. Ashbrook-Schultz has presented the Accredited Buyer's Representative (ABR®) Designation course for Coldwell Banker offices in ten states. In addition to teaching REBAC courses, Ms. Ashbrook-Schultz has written, and delivers, a twelve-hour new agent training course on buyer representation that is approved for Continuing Education credit in Iowa.
She also developed, and presents, a two to three-hour seminar called “Committing the Buyer," which offers ideas for getting buyers to sign an exclusive buyer agency agreement. For eight years, she was a volunteer speaker at a home-buying conference, sponsored by the Citizens for Community Improvement for minority or low income citizens of Des Moines; her sessions emphasized working with a buyer's representative.
In addition to holding the ABR® designation, Ms. Ashbrook-Schultz is also certified as a Distinguished Real Estate Instructor (DREI) by the Real Estate Educators Association (REEA).
