Melanie J. McLane

Melanie J. McLane has been keeping her thumb on the real estate market for more than 33 years. A licensed appraiser, broker and educator, Melanie has extensive experience in all aspects of real estate. While she devotes most of her time to teaching, writing and consulting with real estate companies, Melanie keeps her licenses active and continues to list, sell and appraise properties to ensure that she stays in touch with the real estate market.

A graduate of Kenyon College and nationally known speaker, Melanie has appeared at the REALTORS® Conference & Expo and the Triple Play REALTOR® Convention & Trade Expo as a speaker. She is an instructor for the Resorts and Second-home Markets Course, REBAC courses and SRS courses. Melanie has earned the designations ABR®, CRB, CRS, e-PRO®, GRI, RAA, SRES®, as well as the RSPS Certification. Melanie is an active community leader and has served as president of the Lycoming County Multiple Listing Service, president of the West Branch Valley Association of Realtors® and has served two, two-year terms as District V vice president for the Pennsylvania Association of REALTORS® She also has chaired numerous committees at the local and state level, and is currently serving on numerous state committees as well as the Professionalism and the Appraisal Committee for the National Association of REALTORS® Melanie has been honored on numerous occasions by her local Association of REALTORS®. In 1994, she was named “REALTOR® of the Year” by the West Branch Valley Association of REALTORS®; in 2004, she received an “Outstanding Achievement Award."
