Donna Andrews

I hold a Real Estate License in Rhode Island and Massachusetts. I also hold the designations of Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR) and Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI). I am Certified as a Negotiations Specialist, Home Marketing Specialist and New Homes Specialist. I am a member of the Rhode Island Association of Realtors, National Association of Realtors, Real Estate Buyers Agency Council and Greater Providence Board of Realtors. I will be the 2012 Corporate Secretary for the GPBOR. I am also on the Executive Committee, a Director on the Board of Directors, Vice Chair of the Equal Opportunity/Cultural Diversity Committee, Co-Director of the GPBOR Annual Charity Golf Classic, Legislative/RPAC Committee and Awards Committee all with the Greater Providence Board of Realtors. I am treasurer for the RI YPN (Young Professionals Network) and I am also on the state association RPAC committee. I am the recipient of the 2010 Lear Award for outstanding commitment to the Greater Providence Board of Realtors.  

As a lifelong resident of East Providence, I have come to know the entire East Bay area very well. I am a single mother of two daughters and one grandchild. I spent 13 years in the banking industry where I received many awards for excellent service. I was a manicurist for 8 years which I really enjoyed but due to arthritis in my hands, I had to retire. I worked as an officer for the Brown University Police & Security Department and was able to learn so much about the East Side of Providence and the history involved. Geographically, I know the state of Rhode Island extremely well. I love to pound the pavement and find that perfect home for my clients. I held many other positions in the years past which included but are not limited to – event planner (DMA Events), driving limousine (chauffer license), catering, bartending (licensed), dispatching for AAA, Customer Service for homeowners & auto insurance, Controller/Office Manager for two auto dealerships, medical claims approver. I have a passion for singing. I started in my church choir and continued through junior and high schools and performed locally with a band.  

I am very proud to say that I am a volunteer for the Camp Street Community Ministries in Providence. I volunteer my time in the food pantry and the clothing area and it is the greatest feeling to know that I can help someone less fortunate than myself. I donate on a regular basis and I have also hosted a toy drive for Christmas time and was very successful. I will continue that every year as long as I am able.

Helping people achieve their real estate dreams and goals is very important to me. I strive to make this a pleasant, smooth and successful transition.
